Tenebrae USA Tour 2015

Tenebrae USA Tour

22-30 October 2015

Tenebrae is delighted to announce its 2015 USA tour, which will take place from 22 – 30 October. The choir will perform its programme The Romantic Legacy of Renaissance Polyphony across eight states, featuring music from their upcoming Brahms and Bruckner CD (pictured left), Tenebrae Responsories by Tomás Luis de Victoria, as well as Gregorio Allegri’s beautifully atmospheric Miserere mei, Deus.
Tenebrae Launch new CD
Thursday 12th November 2015
Tenebrae will be performing its new programme of Brahms and Bruckner Motets in the exquisite surroundings and acoustic of St. James’s Church, Spanish Place (London). Seamlessly entwining old and new with notable musical influences from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, these motets endure as masterpieces of the sacred style in the nineteenth century.

This concert will mark the launch of the Tenebrae’s new album on Signum Records featuring this repertoire, profits from the sale of which will go to Macmillan Cancer Support to aid their incredible work.
